The company Quimialmel España, S.L. owns a quarry which has a pebble silex balls treatment plant. This quarry is located in Lezuza (Albacete) and its resources are estimated to reach more than 10,000,000 tonnes.
The washing and classification plant’s processing capacity is over 200,000 tonnes per year. Besides, it has a 5 metre washing trammel so that once the material is processed it becomes perfectly classified, washed and in ideal conditions to be used.
Technical characteristics
Silex balls from Lezuza are natural, hard and with high silex content (99%). This reduces the chance of contamination in milled or micronized materials.
The silex milling process is more ecological than the milling carried out through synthetics products such as alumina balls, whose manufacturing process is highly contaminating.
Measures available: silex balls from 2 to 3 cm. We adapt to client’s needs.
